Premium boats often require a captain. We're the captain — book the boat you actually want instead of settling.

Nobody-wants-to-drive groups

Bachelor(ette) parties, birthdays, out-of-town crews. Everyone participates, nobody babysits the throttle.

Actually surf the thing

A rented surf boat with an amateur at the wheel makes a bad wave. We dial ballast and speed so the rental is worth it.

Platform rules apply, and rental and captain arrangements stay separate — you select and pay your captain directly, which is what keeps the arrangement compliant. We'll confirm the details for your specific rental before your date.

$129/hr 6-hour minimum

Slightly above our own-boat rate — an unfamiliar boat means extra pre-trip checks and coordination with the owner's handoff.

Good to know: tell us the listing before you book the boat. Ten minutes of reading the rental terms up front saves the day-of surprise where a listing's captain policy and your plan don't match.

Can someone else drive a boat I rented?

On peer-to-peer platforms like GetMyBoat, yes — renters can arrange their own USCG-credentialed captain, and some premium listings actually require a captain. The key rule: the renter (you) chooses and pays the captain separately from the boat rental. We handle that structure correctly.

The listing says 'captain required.' What do I do?

That's exactly this service. Owners of premium surf boats often won't rent bareboat — book the boat, then book us to drive it. We coordinate pickup details with you and show up ready.

Do I need a Washington boater card to rent a boat?

Washington lets renters skip the boater education card if they complete the rental company's safety checklist. But a checklist doesn't teach anyone to drive a surf wake or dock a 24-foot boat in wind. That gap — legal to rent, hard to drive — is why this service exists.

How does payment work?

Boat rental goes to the owner or platform; captain fee comes to us, separately. That separation isn't bureaucracy — it's what keeps a rental-plus-captain arrangement compliant with Coast Guard rules.
