The comparison that matters
A captained wakesurf session in Seattle costs $275–340 per hour — fair pricing for someone else's $200,000 boat. But if the boat is already yours, you're paying charter rates to rent what you own. A full 6-hour weekday on your boat with a professional at the wheel is $714 — less than three hours of a charter.
Pricing questions
Why a 6-hour minimum?
Because a real day on the water is a day. Between launch or dock-out, riding for everyone aboard, lunch at anchor, and the run home, six hours is what the day actually takes — and it keeps us focused on full, well-run days rather than rushed in-and-out sets.
What's included in the hourly rate?
Everything captain-side: pre-trip planning, all driving, ballast and wake setup, safety management, docking, and trailer work if needed. On your-boat and rental bookings, you supply the boat and fuel — stated plainly because surprise line items are how this industry loses trust.
How does this compare to a wakesurf charter?
Captained wakesurf charters in Seattle run $275–340 per hour because the boat is theirs. Our flagship service captains the boat you already have for $119–139 per hour — roughly half the cost for the same professional at the wheel.
Do you charge for travel?
Not within our core area: Lake Washington, Lake Sammamish, and Lake Tapps. Puget Sound trips and other lakes are quoted per trip.
